Dearest Friends and Supporters of House of Healing Ministries,

As most of you are aware, Jim and Pat have both recently dealt with major health issues.  Thankfully, God has always been faithful to make His Presence known in their lives and this time is no different.  While there are significant financial needs that they are not able to cover on their own, God is a God of provision!

In March, Pat had several tests run to get to the root of the medical problems she has faced.  Those tests were very expensive, were not covered, and payment is still outstanding.  She was scheduled to have major surgery on March 27th, but that had to be canceled due to Jim’s hospitalization.  Then Jim had to be scheduled for surgery on May 2nd.  Again, God showed His faithfulness to them in the good reports that came back after his surgery.  And while Jim has Medicare which aids in his situation, follow up treatments still needs to take place and additional costs will be incurred.

Pat is hoping to have her surgery rescheduled for the beginning of June. The surgeon projects that Pat will have to stay in the hospital for 4 to 5 days, and along with the procedures, her uninsured costs could reach in excess of $20,000.  Jim and Pat have been told by the hospital that if they pay in advance her bill will be reduced almost 65% to $7000, a significant reduction.  This total cost does not include any ancillary doctor’s and lab bills.

What a great opportunity to sow into such wonderful people!  How great is this time that we can partner with Jim and Pat and be the Body that comes together in times not just to help, but also honor!  If everyone could contribute even a small amount, then it is not only possible, but very likely that Pat’s bill will be covered!  We are the Body of Christ, and He desires that our burdens be distributed among the Flock.  It seems appropriate to us, the Board of House of Healing Ministries, to ask for help from those that believe in the call on Jim and Pat’s lives and House of Healing Ministries.  Right now, they have to take time off from ministering and equipping the Body, in order to take care of themselves.  We believe this is God’s priority for them right now.  We pray that the Spirit will speak to your hearts as to how you can sow into the need.
